Dr. Bhakta completed his undergraduate work at the University of California at Riverside, majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics. He then pursued his podiatric medical degree at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California and received his degree in May of 2000. From July of 2000 to June of 2001, Dr. Bhakta continued his post-graduate training by completing a podiatric internship at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York that involved hospital and community podiatric medicine. Dr. Bhakta also participated in a podiatric surgical residency at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, New Jersey from July of 2001 to June of 2002. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot-ankle Surgeons. Dr. Bhakta is actively involved in the APMA and the TPMA organizations as well. Dr. Bhakta specializes in pediatric foot care, reconstructive surgery, sports injuries, limb salvage and wound care. In his leisure time, Dr. Bhakta enjoys golfing and helping out in the community.
Dr. Ganz joined Accent Podiatry group in January 2006 after leaving a private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to private practice, Dr. Ganz completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Miami, Florida where he worked treating athletic injuries for the NBA’s Miami Heat, NCAA’s University of Miami, Barry University and high school athletic teams, as well as athletes competing in Walt Disney’s Wide World of Sports. Dr. Ganz completed his surgical residency at Englewood hospital in Englewood, N.J., where he first met Dr. Bhakta. He performed abundant surgery cases and community practice treatment for an urban and suburban population. Dr. Ganz completed his medical training at Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He did undergraduate study at University of Maryland at College Park, where he received his bachelor’s of science degree in neurobiology and physiology. Dr. Ganz is an associate of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He is very passionate about his interest in sports and sports medicine, and as a lifelong Cowboys fan, who grew up in Washington, D.C., he is happy to finally be on home turf.
